ARTIST STATMENT
ARTIST STATEMENT 2024
My Art is distinct in such a way that the image is abstract yet conveys an idea that is universal; that Art is for the viewer not the creator. When my painting is shown, a story is told. Through the colors , line and forms, a mood is distinguished. From the movement and the flow. A Plot is born. The viewer and the creator becomes the characters. From the characters disposition, a space of time and place is established. What is the ending? One will find that in the painting. My paintings are storytellers… whether they show other peoples stories or mine… they are Expressions innate only to the one who chooses to view and find their path in it. I become the conduit where I hope to take the audience to travel with me in their own individual way and come to an end of discovery and imagination.
