I studied at the Columbus College of Art and Design and received my graduate degree from Kent State University. My works follow the trompe l’oeil (fooling-the-eye) tradition. I paint images on flat paper and/or canvases to trick the viewer to think they are actual objects. The viewer is usually amused they have been ‘fooled’ into believing the image was real only to learn that it was painted.
