I am an environmental artist who explores the need for humans to learn new healthy beliefs and behaviors with Nature. Some of my work is more layered and nuanced, but I love this work for its light touch and positivity.

Susan Carkeek has been a showing artist since 1975. From 2000 to today her focus has been on human beliefs and attitudes towards Nature. Her latest exhibitions include the de Young Open 2023 and a current solo exhibition at M Stark Gallery in Half Moon Bay that is a series of mixed media paintings called Dirt • Plant • Sky. The exhibition runs from September 6, 2024 – October 27, 2024.
