ARTIST STATMENT
1968 was the "Turning Point' of many historical events... the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. , the Tet offensive, the turning point of the Vietnam War. I am addressing the 1968 American Indian Movement (AIM), an organization that addressed systemic issues of poverty, discrimination and police brutality against American Indians. in 1968 the Indian Civil Rights Act also known as the Indian Bill of Rights of the Native Americans living in the United States.
1968 - Turning Point was created by my natural flow of energy that ended up as a summary of so many important events that shaped our nation.
May our focus be on every human and their rights as citizens of our country.
